Okay, here she is, Charlotte 2.0! You can see how different she is from my first try, I guess the more I make the better I’ll get at painting on fabric (it’s hard!). You can see the difference between the two. This time I found a great white denim jacket from the 60s (it kinda looks its age a little, the collar is worn, missing a tab button etc.) but I dyed it a more pastel pink, and it turned out well. Also, this time I only spiked the shoulders, because it’s a bit annoying to sit down sometimes with a koopa shell of spikes on your back haha. Though it’s nice to be able to porcupine shove your back into the face of the patriarchy ~
I also tried using stencils for the initial blocks of colour, but I didn’t like it, so I went back to hand painting.
